We stayed in a private double with a private bathroom - excellent, clean, comfortable, and modern. The staff was outstanding, especially Alexey, who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The location was very convenient, close to the central bus station for easy access to Listvyanka and Olkhon Island. The staff was English speaking, friendly, and helpful. The room was cozy and clean.
Felt at home here, no reason to complain.

The location was hella convenient, with dope attractions like Aistenok Irkutsk Regional Puppet Theater and Irkutsk Regional Memorial Decembrists Museum close by. The staff was super chill and English-speaking, making it easy to communicate. The rooms were clean and cozy, perfect for a group of friends on a budget. Definitely a vibe!
The only thing we would've wanted more of at Matreshka Hotel is some turnt-up party vibes. It's a great hotel for young people, but we were hoping for a livelier atmosphere and maybe a cool bar or lounge area to hang out and meet new people.

Great location in the center of the city, close to shops and bus stops. The staff was friendly and helpful, giving us advice for our trip. The breakfast provided was delicious and satisfying. The hotel also had good internet connection, which was a bonus.
There were a few downsides to our stay. there was no elevator, which made carrying our luggage up the stairs a bit challenging.

I chose this hotel for attending a town hall meeting due to its excellent conference facilities. The 323 square feet of space provided in the conference center was perfect for our needs. Additionally, the meeting room was well-equipped and conducive to productive discussions.
The only service that I missed for my work was a dedicated business center. It would have been convenient to have access to computers, printers, and other office equipment for any last-minute document preparation or printing needs.

We had a great stay at Matreshka in Irkutsk. The junior suite was spacious and spotless, with a comfortable queen size bed. The staff was friendly and spoke English, providing excellent service. They even went the extra mile and hand-washed my husband's jeans when the washing machine broke down. The hotel's location was convenient, within walking distance of attractions and shops. The breakfast was delicious, offering a variety of options to choose from, including a buffet with bread, eggs, sausages, ham. I highly recommend this hotel for both short and extended stays, especially if you're planning to visit Lake Baikal.
Can't fault anything about it. 😊

I recently stayed at a hotel in Irkutsk that was conveniently located near the central bus station. This made it incredibly easy for me to travel to Listvyanka and Olkhon Island. the hotel was right next to the bustling city market, allowing me to explore and experience the local culture. The rooms were clean and comfortable, providing a relaxing stay after a long day of sightseeing. The friendly and helpful staff made my stay even more enjoyable, ensuring that I had everything I needed. Plus, the breakfast buffet offered a variety of delicious options to start my day off right.
The thin walls between rooms made it a bit difficult to get a peaceful night's sleep.
